Q: Can I bring my own equipment?

A: Welding helmets, jackets, and other PPE will be provided. To keep the playing field level, no tools or other equipment of any kind can be brought into competition.

Q: Is there an age limit?

A: Yes. All competitors must be over 18. Spectators ages 14-18 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian. No one under the age of 14 will be allowed on premises at all during the event.

Q: If I travel from far or fly in, where can I stay?

A: All travel guests are staying at the Holiday Inn near the Lehigh Valley Airport (3375 High Point Blvd, Bethlehem).

Q: What time is the event?

A: The event beings at 9am and will announce a Final Winner by 5pm.

Q: Do spectators need to wear PPE also?

A: There will be designated areas for viewing the competition that will require the proper PPE. All other areas will not require PPE.

Q: Can I compete against someone I invited to the competition?

A: We will do our best to put you in a rotating group with someone you request to compete against.

Q: Is this a rain or shine event?

A: Yes, the event will not be canceled for weather and will be held rain or shine. (All competitions will be held in a dry environment for safety.)

A: The event starts at 9:00am. Competitors should arrive at 8:30 to check in.
