Q: Can I bring my own equipment?
A: Welding helmets, jackets, and other PPE will be provided. To keep the playing field level, no tools or other equipment of any kind can be brought into competition.
Q: Is there an age limit?
A: Yes. All competitors must be over 18. Spectators ages 14-18 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian. No one under the age of 14 will be allowed on premises at all during the event.
Q: If I travel from far or fly in, where can I stay?
A: We will be posting a local hotel block soon to make gathering and before and after meet-ups more convenient! Check back!
Q: When is the event?
A: Fabricator Olympics 2025 will be held on Saturday, October 11th, 2025 and it will begin promptly at 9am. Competitors should arrive by 8:30am to ensure time to check in and get situated prior to event opening.
Q: Do spectators need to wear PPE also?
A: There will be designated areas for viewing the competition that will require proper PPE as well as some games. All other vendor and game areas will not require PPE.
Q: Can I compete head-to-head against someone I invited to the competition?
A: All competitors are scored identically and new for 2025, we will have rankings for each competition listed by the end of day. If you would like to specifically be placed in a rotating group with someone, please email melissa@jmwfabrication.com with your name and the other competitor name and the date that you purchased your tickets - no later than September 30th.
Q: Is this a rain or shine event?
A: Yes, the event will not be canceled for weather and will be held rain or shine. (All competitions will be held in a dry environment for safety.)

A: The event starts at 9:00am. Competitors should arrive at 8:30 to check in.
